Due to its properties, ceramics can operate at high temperatures and it also has excellent corrosion resistance and heat accumulation. Thus, the use of ceramic materials in heating equipment is perfectly logical and expected. Ceramic heaters have carved out a niche and successfully compete with heating devices of other types, such as, for example, oil radiators. More than that, the devices with ceramic heating elements have a number of advantages, and there is no doubt that their production will only increase in the future.

Advantages

One of the main advantages of ceramic heaters is their safety. High heat resistance of ceramics prevent device from overheating or becoming a source of ignition. This is when a fan is blowing through the heating element, which are ceramic plates in this case, and the heated air is spread around the room. This type of heater is quite costly in terms of electricity.
  • Infra-red. Principle of work of these heaters is completely different from that of convector heaters, as they do not warm the air, but objects which are placed in the room. These ceramic devices are more economical, they do not burn oxygen, and they are silent, efficient and safe. Usage of infra-red radiation, similar to one we get from the sun, became a real revolution in the field of heating devices and rapidly gains in popularity.

Ceramic heaters are also subdivided according to the place of installation:

  • Wall heaters. Such devices often have the form of panel and are fastened to the wall not very high from the floor. Due to the small thickness, they do not take up much space in the room.
  • Floor standing heaters. These heaters have such an important advantage as mobility. They are easily moved from one room to another.
